About the Artist

Idelle Steinberg has a strong practice working in pen and ink.

The drawings develop through a private process rooted in attention, perception, and form.

The practice spans decades and remains focused on presence rather than planning — allowing figures, environments, and internal architectures to emerge slowly through line.

She also works in color, primarily in watercolor and gouache, and is currently exploring digital media as an extension of her visual art practice.

The imagery is sourced from imagination, often with subtle surreal undertones.

Originally from the U.S., she is currently traveling. Her work has remained mostly private until recently, when a shift toward sharing led to this first creation of a curated online gallery — intended to be ongoing.
